English Vinglish has shown one of the biggest jumps of all times over the weekend. The film has collected a figure which seemed difficult after the poor opening.
Friday Collections were just 2 crore net, while Saturday came at 4.25 crore net. Sunday added another 6 crore net. This results in a weekend collection of 12.25 crore net.
The film is doing really well at the multiplexes. The Single Screens are Above Average, but its a limited release there.
The Regional version of the film also picked up. The Total Collections from Tamil and Telgu versions is 1.85 crore (gross).
Despite this kind of Performance, it is Oh My God which is leading the box office again this week with 13 crore from the weekend.

plus no other actress has performed that much well be it be Kareena in heroine (was just o.K) or be it be Priyanka (Barfi…had limited role….but was low as compared to vidyaa or Sri ji)
